Another dance competition was successfully completed- both classes (Josh and Mariah) got superior marks! YEAH - Josh had a comfy ride having the back seat of the car to himself!

Last Wed. for Katie's playgroup/preschool we went to see baby lambs!! She truly enjoyed it and mom absolutely loved it!! Over 100 baby lambs- they were adorable. One of the moms- Celest- took lots of pictures and just dropped off a disk of "lamb day pictures"- YEAH!!!!  

Basketball season for son, #4 Shawn, and coach, "white shirt" Dad, is almost over- we enjoyed the season but I will admit we are ready to have everyone home for... well, 2 weeks... then track begins! The team did really well and learned a lot. March 16-18th will finish up the season with some tournaments in Shelley, ID. It will be a very long three days for these boys- and a lot of travel- but they are excited! 

Toby the cat has a new style of being loved- tummy rubs! The children think it is sooo cute, they had to take a picture.  

The children watched a movie the other night and all slept in the living room. We have had a long week already and it was fun to take some time out to enjoy and giggle! I wanted to take pictures because I thought that this is one of the things we do as a family that I think our children will remember later in life and "remember when" about...

Katie didn't want to finish her sandwich at lunch today- so, she decided to feed it to the chickens "all by herself"... being with the chickens all by herself is nothing new- but, putting on mom's garden shoes and going outside in 20 degree weather and flouncing through snow to do it.... well, she got 3/4 of the way there and decided to come back! We put it in the "chicken bucket" where we put all the scraps that SHAWN feeds to the chickens :-) 

I could never really get a good picture of Caleb, he is right next to the girl with white and blue- consentrating very hard on the school play- where he and Josh sang!

We had the single young adults over on Sunday evening- LaRee wanted her picture taken with Shawn and the children around her- she loves pictures too! It was fun to see the children Jump in! 

We are happy to report that Samantha is no longer missing!!!! Katie had played hide-and-seek with her and well, forgot to seek her until today :-) Samantha was happy to be back with the family and her mom, Mariah, was beside herself with Joy. Grandma (that would be me) was elated almost to tears as well!!!! 

Okay, yeah- I don't "do" pictures of myself... but, I got a new haircut and I thought it would be fun to blog it!!! I had about 3-4 inches taken off- something like that. It is lots of fun to style.
