Okay- we got some baby chicks this summer... they were soooo cute.... and then they grew up.... and, well..... some of them are kindof sortof cute..... anyway, our chickens are now laying eggs 1 whole month early... for you city folks- that means we have happy chickens.... hens don't lay eggs when they are cold or grumpy!! We spent most of last Saturday making their chicken mansion in the "barn".... Katie likes going in there and singing and dancing and whatever (we have really nice chickens).... maybe it is her music that is making them lay eggs early?! Sigh.
