Shawn just finished another pow-wow for scouts. He earned 3 more merit badges- Personal Management, Crime prevention, and Animal Science... In April he will have his Life (so much time has to pass between badges) and be able to start his eagle project. As long as it is approved, right now it looks like he will be building cabinets in a trailer our youth purchased to put their camping gear in. He will design them, obtain the materials for building, Bro Southwick will teach him cabinet making and watch for safety while Shawn builds them. We have a couple other offers of eagle projects too, but Shawn loves to work with wood- this would be a great opportunity for him- plus, we need the trailer for camping this July for our youth programs- would be nice to have them!!! (Mom needs to catch up on the sewing on of badges...sigh)
