More of Joshua's end of the year stuff~ In Joshua's classroom, they had a system resembling a community- they had jobs, earned money, paid rent, and had bank accounts. During the year, they could spend money on items that each other brought to sell. At the end of the year, they held an auction with many items contributed by the teacher- Josh had saved up a bunch of his money and pretty much bought whatever he wanted to that day. His pride and joy was the sombrero! He also won an award for his reading.
